Over the course of 2 to 3 years for this feasibility study, the public engagement process will include coordination with property owners, local and regional agencies, public meetings, and regular updates for the public.
Open House 3
In-person Meeting: Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Sunfield Event Center

Hays County, in partnership with the City of Buda, is conducting a study to explore the feasibility of constructing SH 45 between I-35 and RM 1626. The third and final open house meeting for the study will be held on Thursday, August 29 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sunfield Station Event Center. At the open house, we will share the refined preliminary alignment, results of the recently completed traffic studies, and the findings of the preliminary access assessment. Public comment and feedback is requested.
The information shared at the meeting will also be available online and the comment period is from Thursday, August 29 to Friday, September 13, 2024. Comments may be submitted through the website, during the in-person open house, or by email, mail, text, or phone. We encourage all those that are interested in the Study to participate and share their thoughts.
The open house will be conducted in English. Project materials will be available in English for both meeting formats (online and in-person). If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or have difficulty communicating in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the in-person or virtual open house, please contact the Project Team at 512-400-6107 no later than 4 p.m. CT, Monday, August 26, 2024.
